Hello Again!

So it seems that life has gotten in the way of my artistic endevours yet again! It's been a little while since I could craft anything or take part in any challenges, but I have a few days off and am going to enjoy my stay-cation! Today I made a card for two seperate challenges.

 

1. Heart 2 Heart challenge-theme is song, which took me a little while to think of something catchy, short and relevant!

 

2.  Bitten By the Bug 2- theme is birds...

 

I made the card using scraps and of course, my new go-to Cricut cartridge, Artbooking!

Christmas in August with Artbooking!

I was so excited to make my first Artbooking project, and I really wanted to do something Christmas related. I was inspired by the Bitten By the Bug 2 blog challenge for Christmas in July.

 

I am so pleased with how this turned out! It was so easy to do, it only took me about three hours total to cut and put everything together, which for me is a miracle! Now I have a place to put some of my random Christmas photos I've been hanging on to, and I was able to use up some of the paper that had been sitting in my stash for years. The ribbon was perfect, and honestly, came from a stash of Victoria's Secret bags that I can never bring myself to throw out!
